MISSION

Energy Wise builds community power through energy education.

While we serve all Louisianans, we focus on underserved communities, providing residential energy retrofits for tenants, low income families, homes with poor solar potential, and people with moderate-to-low credit scores.  Through DIY workshops, presentations to community groups, and building retrofits at schools, churches and nonprofits, we are transforming the energy profile of Louisiana.

Our board, staff and volunteers have decades of experience in weatherization, alternative energy, education and nonprofit management.

In the interest of community engagement and the spirit of transparent governance, the board offers the following documents for public review: articles of incorporation, bylaws, revisions to bylaws since incorporation (2014), conflict of interest policy and previous years 990s since our 2013 inception (2018, 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014 & 2013).
